Felts DDS is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Truth or Consequences, NM

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and hard working Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care. Experience not required but a bonus.

Duties:
- Prepare patients for dental procedures
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist the dentist during procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene
- Maintain accurate patient records

Experience can include:
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and protocols
- Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and equipment
- Familiarity with dental software systems
- Understanding of infection control and aseptic techniques
- Ability to perform dental receptionist duties when needed
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations for patient privacy
- Experience in medical coding and documentation is a plus
- Familiarity with medical imaging processes
